Acts 2:5-13 | 14 But Peter, standing with the eleven,
lifted up his voice and addressed them: “Men of
Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be
known to you, and give ear to my words…21 And it
shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon
the name of the Lord shall be saved.’

Key Idea: The Spirit empowers men to preach
the Word of God so that God’s will is
understood, misconceptions are refuted, truth is
applied to our situation, and God’s promise is
revealed.

Outline: Spirit empowered preaching…

1. reaches for every opportunity to explain the
activity of God.

2. refutes the misconceptions of the masses.

3. relates the Word of God to our current
circumstances.

4. reveals the promise of God to be accepted.
