Key Idea: A mark of the true church is that it
embraces scriptural fidelity as its guiding
principle and standard for practice, thus
preparing it for the gospel mission.

In scriptural fidelity, the true church…

1. acknowledges the priority of the Word of God.

2. applies the principles of the Word of God.

3. acts in response to the Word of God.

4. appeals for a Word from God.

5. accepts the Word from God.
