Authority, Advantage, and Ability

2 Timothy 3:16-17

Key Idea: God has given His authoritative Word, for
the advantage of His people, so that we are able to
meet the demands of the Christian life.

1. Scripture is given as our authority (16a).
2. Scripture is given for our advantage (16b).
3. Scripture provides our ability to meet the demands of the Christian life (17).

2 Timothy 3:16-17 | All Scripture is breathed out by
God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for
correction, and for training in righteousness, that the
man of God may be complete, equipped for every
good work.
